I'm not sure I understand your goal.

Are you seeking a newer oiiotool that is compiled against a more recent libraw 
(or compiled against one at all, if the one you are using was not built with 
raw support)? Answer: just build your own oiiotool from the current master, 
making sure that the latest libraw is on your system for it to find, and you 
can use that oiiotool interchangeably with the older one that ships with Arnold.

Or are you seeking a newer dcraw binary itself? That's not really an OIIO issue 
at all. Updating dcraw by itself will not add any capabilities to your 
already-built oiiotool.
