In this PR: https://github.com/OpenImageIO/oiio/pull/2053 I have proposed adding a .clang-format (and related build script modifications).
I'd like to hear any opinions about whether people think it's a good idea to reformat nearly all code in the project (in a way that's fairly similar stylistically to what we already do, though certainly with many minor modifications), and then any future code submissions in a fully automated way. Pros? Cons? Opinions? Experience on other projects? This is the discussion period.
