Is PB stable in HEAD?

I am wanting to start playing with adding the pluggable dynamic proxy
into HEAD. My true, and easiest, test case is my current application
that makes uses of the PB API. 
 
I know there have been a ton of refactorings, so I am curious if the
current state is relatively stable for using a HEAD build with my
current application in a non-production environment? Are there a
significant amount of changes that I will need to make to my OJB
configurations to use HEAD?
