Thanks for your prompt answer Brian. Are you reworking this using forrest - http://xml.apache.org/forrest Forrest would help in this area and it is easy to get it the job done. I am asking this also because many other apache projects are written in forrest: http://cocoon.apache.org/ http://ant.apache.org/ http://incubator.apache.org/ http://jakarta.apache.org/poi/index.html http://xml.apache.org/ just to mention a some of them.
