I have spoken with Gavin (the hibernate lead) several times regarding the
difference between OJB and hibernate. I'll try to find the mail and forward
it to the list.

I think the bottom line was something like

Hibernate==true OR mapping (mapping only)
OJB==more like an Object transaction server with mapping.
