hi all I have a slightly off topic question. I am trying to understand different frameworks and how they can combined. Looks like we have the persistence using OJB, Controller and views using Struts/Tiles. Are there any frameworks for the business component layer? It would be nice to have such a framework which uses OJB as the persistence mechanism. Specifically I am looking for the best practices in solving these common problems (maybe some of these are already available)
(1) Ability to create and maintain Application Roles and Responsibilities (2) Ability to (dynamically) make certain fields readonly or hide fields depending on the role.
