I ran into what I thought was a strange 'problem' today. It was the first
time that I have needed to use an orderby attribute. I took a quick look at
the DTD, and realizing that every attribute that I have worked with that
referred to a field-descriptor did so by means of that field-descriptor's id
attribute, I added something like 'orderby="5"'. This, of course, did not
give me the results that I expected, and when I looked at the log and saw
the SQL that was generated I couldn't help but laugh.

I'm just wondering if there is any particular reason that the orderby
attribute takes the name of the field to be ordered, rather than the id
like, it seems, everything else does.
