I see, thanks!Currently we need these jars, because OJB shipped with an jboss-mbean. This may be changed in further versions of OJB.
As an aside, wouldn't it be nice to make OJB a little leaner when it comes to dependencies? I count 34 jar-files in the distribution and as far as I can tell I still need 24 of those in the runtime environment. Four or five of jars are redundant with my existing environment (WAS 4.1) which means I am down to around 20 extra jarfiles. That's still 2.4 MB and god knows how many classes.
I am not that worried when it comes to performance as I am reluctant to add 20 new jar-files to my project. A few additional APIs and well, the dependency list gets... too large.
