For the European Commission, we are using OJB for a financial application with a great success (based on Oracle database). We plan to integrate OJB in jetspeed for building a "financial portal application". If you have an issue with OJB, see in the mail forum archive, it is a great help. Support via this mailing list, it is really fast.
