Hi Christian,
The ClassNotPersistenceCapableException you see is a clear indicator that your app is running against a repository.xml that does not contain a mapping definition for the tutorial5 Product class. Are you using an old version of this file?
Please try out the latest 0.9.8 release and follow the instructions in tutorial4.html!
I've tested the relase under Linux and Win32. It does work!
