Hi all,

Just to let you know that I've been asked to submit an article for the proceedings for the first COMMUNIA workshop [1]. I've attached the guidelines and the original email from the publications co-ordinator below. It looks like it should either be 4-6 pages (short) or 8-12 pages (long), with abstract, authors, keywords, and so on.

I'll pop something up on the wiki in the next few days, but in the meantime it would be good to hear if there's anything that anyone would particularly like to see included, so that I can take this into account when I write the first draft.

Regards,

Jonathan

\
Articles presented to Communia workshops and conferences will be published on Communia website, and later in formal proceedings gathering contributions during the three years of the network. The event scientific committee will appreciate articles level of quality. They shall answer to the norms of scientific articles, e.g. be in a fully written form (not only slides-like bullet points) and enclose a bibliography and/or web references.\
Articles are presenting original research, work-in-progress, state of the art, methodological proposals or preliminary results. Communia prefers original submissions but does not require exclusivity.\
Communia language is English. Discipline-specific terms can be defined in order to be understood by a broad audience (links to a few online definitions in the footnotes are acceptable).\
\

2. The name of the authors, affiliation, optional postal address or city or country, e-mail;\
3. Abstract (up to 150 words);\
4. Optional keywords (up to 12 keywords);\
5. Optional licensing terms of your contributions (e.g. Creative Commons license, dedication to the public domain...) under the following format:\

\'c7\'caThis article is licensed under a {\field{\*\fldinst{HYPERLINK "http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/nl/deed.en"}}{\fldrslt \cf2 \ul \ulc2 Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Netherlands license}}.\'ca\'c8\
You may embed a link to the license, including optional choice of the jurisdiction (the first example is displaying an unported license, the second example points to the English version of a jurisdiction\'d5s deed); you may also consider including licensing terms in your presentation slides;\
6. Your article will have an introduction and a conclusion (or a section on future work);\
7. Optional acknowledgements: in case of multiple co-authors, you may wish to explain the role of each contributor; you may wish to thank colleagues for their idea or help, and funders for their support;\
8. References can be ordered by alphabetical order or according to their appearance in your article, and be inserted in the body of the article in the following way: [1], or [2, 3].\
\
Long papers length will be 8-12 pages,\'caand short paper 4-6 pages, with recommended type-font 12 and simple line spacing (between 16000 - 24000 characters for long papers and 8000 - 12000 characters for short papers, with flexibility upon prior request to the event organizers and agreement by the scientific committee).\
Please keep your layout as simple as possible:\
- Avoid headers and footers;\
- Number sections and subsections heading (1., 1.1., 1.1.1., etc);\
- Figures will also be numbered consecutively (Figure 1., Figure 2., etc);\
- Text can embed hyperlinks;\
- Footnotes can be displayed at the bottom of each page, or gathered after the conclusion. \
\
Please send your article as an .rtf attachment to {\field{\*\fldinst{HYPERLINK "mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]"}}{\fldrslt \cf2 \ul \ulc2 [EMAIL PROTECTED], copying your co-authors.\
