I can see a clear link to open knowledge - in the construction, co-construction, and communication of "open" knowledge we need to be considering diversity. If we aren't, are we really talking about open knowledge?
Good to hear this isn't a problem in the areas you're working in. However in many areas, including tech - gender diversity is a problem.
