Summary: problems with (ignoring) drm-settings (pdf) Product: okular Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: unspecified Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: okular-devel@kde.org ReportedBy: m.w...@web.de Version: (using KDE 4.3.2) Installed from: Ubuntu Packages I have some problems with a document that contains drm-settings. They appear to be related, that is why I report them as one. If you have the feeling I should split them up, I will do so. I have a PDF-document, which has forms. I opened it with okular, hoping I can save the contents of the form, even though it is forbidden in regular Adobe Reader. First I filled out parts of the form to test it. Then I used "Save-in/under" (Speichern-In in German). I got the following message: "Datei kann nicht in „/tmp/kde-mark/okularZQ6600.tmp“ gespeichert werden. Versuchen Sie einen anderen Speicherort" -> file can not be saved in /tmp, please try it somewhere else. The funny thing about this, I never tried to save it in tmp. I think Okular could not save the document because of the drm, but gave this cryptic message. This message should definitely be changed then. Saving the file as a copy worked, but did not contain the forms filled out. I then noticed that I had to uncheck "accept drm settings". I did so, but the same happens as above. So ignoring drm settings does not work in this case, but okular does not indicate this at all. So the essence of this report is: - okular does not provide clear feedback about problems relating to drm-settings and forms -> this should be changed at least. - it would be better if ignoring drm settings in this case really worked. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
