The attached images show the problem. One image shows the window open before I
click Okular on the task bar to bring it to the front. Sometimes there is
garbage and it is using some other part of the screen in the misrendered area.
Sometimes it is just the underlying bit of screen. This has been the case for
me since I first installed Kubuntu - 8.04 in 04/2008 and continued in 8.10 and
9.04. It also occurs in Ubuntu where I use several KDE apps.
