--- Comment #4 from dolge...@informatik.uni-erlangen.de --- Dear Christoph, finally the results: A) pdftops myfile.pdf ; lpr myfile.ps B) lpr myfile.pdf both result in a duplexed printout. Furthermore, I created a new user (i.e. a ~/.kde with defaults), opened myfile.pdf with okular, set "duplex printing:none" - and got my sheet duplexed. Hence that seems like a "default: duplex" option is somewhere hidden in the system thet overrides all. However, CUPS states "Defaults: job-sheets=none, none media=iso_a4_210x297mm sides=one-sided" and I haven't knowingly configured anything else for that printer (or printing in general). # grep -i duplex /etc/cups/ppd/goethe.ppd *cupsEvenDuplex: True *OpenUI *Duplex/Double-Sided Printing: PickOne *OrderDependency: 10 AnySetup *Duplex *DefaultDuplex: None *Duplex DuplexNoTumble/Long Edge (Standard): "<</Duplex true/Tumble false>>setpagedevice" *Duplex DuplexTumble/Short Edge (Flip): "<</Duplex true/Tumble true>>setpagedevice" *Duplex None/Off: "<</Duplex false/Tumble false>>setpagedevice" *CloseUI: *Duplex *OpenUI *OptionDuplex/Duplexer Installed: Boolean *OrderDependency: 10 AnySetup *OptionDuplex *DefaultOptionDuplex: False *OptionDuplex False/Not Installed: "" *OptionDuplex True/Installed: "" *CloseUI: *OptionDuplex So seems consistent with "sides=one-sided". Any suggestions where else to search? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
