I just tried to reproduce with one of the attached documents and did not
encounter the problem.
Is the problem still present for you?
Is it specific to a specific printer? (As a test, you can try for example
whether the problem also occurs with the "CUPS-PDF" printer that prints to a
file if you just have one physical device.)
If so, could you please attach the PPD file of the printer on which the problem
occurs for you? (It should be located at /etc/cups/ppd/<PRINTERNAME>.ppd .)
