Bug ID: 457323 Summary: Okular should remember location in document if multiple instances of same file were open Product: okular Version: 22.04.3 Platform: Neon Packages OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: okular-devel@kde.org Reporter: doncb...@gmail.com Target Milestone: --- SUMMARY When multiple instances of okular are open with the same document, okular should remember the different configurations for each instance of the document. For instance, I had okular open to homework problems and was reviewing questions with another window on the answer key page. After restarting the computer, when okular was resumed, it opened 2 instances of the same document scrolled to the same spot instead of one instance having the questions and one having the key. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a document with multiple pages 2. open it again in another instance 3. scroll to a different page in the other instance 4. With Restore last session enabled in system settings, logoff/restart 5. Sign back in and observe okular's windows OBSERVED RESULT Same document opened twice, scrolled to same pages EXPECTED RESULT Same document opened twice, scrolled to their correct pages Operating System: KDE neon Testing Edition KDE Plasma Version: 5.25.3 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.97.0 Qt Version: 5.15.5 Kernel Version: 5.15.0-41-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
