If I may add: in the example, when mouse hovering the feature the cursor is 
supposed to change.  Notice that it only occurs when the mouse is at the 
center of the feature, i.e. there seems to be a large invisible zone in the 
middle where the detection works, but out of that it doesn't (on the left 
and right edges of the feature).
