Jon ;

Helping kids go forth & do well is a really good thing , more folks
need to do it .

My son , who will turn 27 this year , doesn't care about any of my
old stuff as it's not !! RACING !!!!! and so it'll prolly go to the
dump or scrapyard .

Removeing the rear window is simple but be very carefull as you can
get nasty cuts on your fingers ! I use a carpet knife and keep the
blade on it's least protruded position , stick it in the old hard
rubber and drag it 'round , there's quite a bit of resistance so
watch up as it might jump out and bite you ~ really . I put the blade
just far enough in so the rubber is cut away from the body and then I
gently take the glass out with what's left of the rubber is still on
it ~ do this from the inside and it's a great way to dismount windows
and keep the metal trim in situ untill you're ready to replace the
glass and rubber as the trim always seems to get bent otherwise .

_ALWAYS_ use a new blade ! this is the single most safety oriented
thing to do .

Have fun , don't forget to order up the chrome locking strip .
