When I first got my '47-2, neither of my doors would close all the way.
They'd close to the first 'click', but wouldn't shut completely. I got some
of the small clips that fit over the latches, and no problems with doors
closing since then. And that was over 6 years ago. The clips make up for
the long-term wear on the latches. They only cost about $3.00 each, and are
well worth a try if you're having problems with your latches.
