I am getting ready to reinstall the dash board in my 40 half ton. I think
that I have figured out where everything goes thru the firewall, but I just
want to very something.
I am assuming that the speedo cable goes thru a hole at the top of the bulge
in the center of the firewall. On the outside of this hole, there is a
sheetmetal cover that appears to me to be a guide for the cable, that
directs it down toward the tranny.
Am I thinking correctly here?
I looked through my manuals hoping to find a picture or drawing of the
firewall layout, but had no luck. Do any of you guys have such a thing that
you could email to me.
