My '57 GMC only has one "tell tale" turn signal lamp on the dash board,
not a separate "left" and "right" tell tale. It uses the 3rd prong to
run the dash turn signal lamp. Chevy TF trucks connected the separate
left and right lamps on the dash directly to the left and right front
turn signal lamps. The Chevy flasher was a two prong flasher.

        Hi all,

I was wondering, what is the difference between 2 prong and 3
prong
        signal flashers?
