Hey all,
A friend of mine has a '49 Thriftmaster and has been having some issues
with the carb clogging up. Well we pulled the tank today and found out
why. What a mess..... Well, we quickly determined (after several courses
of flushing out the tank) that our best course of action at this point
is to replace the tank and sending unit (which is rusted solid) with
new. In the quick search that I did through this group I see that we
aren't the first ones that have had this issue. So I'm hoping that
someone here can provide us with some good places to look for these
items. Any help anyone can provide to that end would be greatly appreciated.
