Looking in Sixty Years Of Chevrolet by George Dammann, I see no hood ornaments on the half-ton trucks from 1941 thru 1946. Most there are drawings though. .bill

The rear motor mounts bolt to the bell housing and then have a vertical bolt through them , there's supposed to be a sheet metal spacer made of steel tubing ut it's usually gone missing .
