Not difficult to do. Just have to check the position of mounts (engine and 
trans). Also have to make clearance for the fan (unless he put's in an electric 
fan) and if he is going fuel injection (fuel upgrade i.e pump and lines).

How difficult is this to do ? .

A guy here @ work's old 1979 (?) 4.3 V6 is smoking badly , leaks oil and just 
failed SMOG testing , he says he wants to make it a V8 .

A budget job of course , used 350 CID SBC engine from who knows where just yet .
