It looked good; better of 2. I'm not sure what spec is but I figured a 2 ton clutch and pressure plate is overkill anyway.

The other involves holding the clutch in place with a bolt and fender washer or 2 and slipping the pressure plate over. While it is a half ton truck, it uses a 2 ton flywheel with the bolt holes all the way out at the end of the flywheel. I had noticed an occasional clutch chatter and sure enough the springs were loose. The transmission I changed out my dad installed in the mid sixties. It had over 300,000 miles on it.
