I believe those originally had poured Babbitt bearings? The rods can be
modified to take insert shell bearings.  Bill in Oregon

Be aware these were slightly different and used " peanut " spark plugs , the

idea being they'd warm up faster and run cleaner...

For a rebuilt , I'd contact Jasper Engines in Jasper , Colorado .

I hope you have some $ as they're not cheap but excell at rebuilding old
InLine 
engines .
