I have a 216 in my truck and had it professionally rebuilt a few years ago.
Among other things, the shop put aluminum pistons in it, balanced it, put in
modern valve seals etc. Just for grins, I just did a compression test on all
the cylinders. They are all around 125 PSI. The fact they are all the same
means all is good but I then realizzed I don't know what significance the
number itself has. Is 125 good? Does the number mean anything by itself? Does
anyone have numbers I can compare it to?

Thanks,
Roy
