Yeah- I have a business account with DHL and used them for a while
until late last year they changed their rates significantly and added
all kinds of 'extras'. The rule I follow is USPS if under 2 pounds and
UPS or FEDEX Ground if over 2 pounds. FEDEX GROUND if over 30 Pounds, ixlar8 Kerry Doyle wrote: Did it get there undamaged? --- Christopher Witt <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:SURE, we can just bill ya later no problem I sent Lathe to GA based on web page quote of about $40 pickup fast, no problem. Pickup charge, maybe, sure, $3 or so. Yesterday comes the bill $53, not 'just under $40' WTH? $5-6 fuel surcharge [I am gonna start charging everyone like that!] $5 extra handling fee $3 pickup fee etc. etc. etc. Sheesh. I only got $40 to ship it, so I got stung on that sh'g. So much for DHL, back to FedEx where at least I know the cost when I ship it. ----------------------- Chris Witt *the* Rocket Scientist 1303 W.
