I sent Mr. Smarty Pants an Ebay message, quoting Mr. Crowdis (w/o acknowledgement) and at the end "just don't call me an a**hole, or tell me to take my thumb out of my a**, ok?" - his reply is below.
Q: The car has been repainted because it is a frame on restoration. I know that a factory option when new is probably different than being added after a restortation. Either way it looks good and shouldn't matter. Sorry for the mis-understanding. Since you brought this to my attention, I have found others on e-bay with the stripe in the same place. You just don't need to be so critical. I responded the way I did because I felt like I was being attacked personally. ----- Original Message ----- From: Gene Crowdis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Wednesday, May 10, 2006 12:51 pm Subject: RE: A real 68 442 with a dumb A$$ Owner To: oldsmobile@chebucto.ns.ca > The '68 442 had two versions of front fender configuration.
