Yo Guys!
Didn't I read somewhere that the 4V code actually meant the faux pas brake ventilation scoops?

This is a 66 question.....not 64..read the title

You are wrong though....sorry. I didnt say 64's now did I....I have never
owned any 64 442's so I wouldnt know on those. But I can tell you this...real
442's in the 65 to 67 range that I have owned compared to Cutlass cars had the
4 mounting holes compared to 2.

Again...I think the question was for 66's wasnt oh great Milt? Get with the
program buddy. :-)

The great HotRodHarry has spoken...LOL!! joking....

I have to disagree a little. Both my '64 442 Cutlass and my '64 standard
Cutlass have the 4 holes in the flange on the upper frame giving 2 different

mounting positions for the rear upper control arms, identical to your
pictures. For my '65 F-85 4-door and my '65 Vista Cruiser, the upper frame
has only one hole on that flange for only one position to mount the upper
control arm. My 2 '64 frames are identical to your '65 frame in that area.
