I think the ''engineering'' part is a bit of hyperbole. It is not very well
optimized. Right off the bat I see little lateral support- it can wiggle or
collapse sideways fairly easily, though fore-aft has a brace. Said fore-aft
brace SHOULD be run right up to the angle iron that bolts to the motor:

Would be a much better design ENGINEERING-wise.
the way it is, all the tipping proclivity must pass thru the one skinny pc
of sq tube at the top.
Ideally, all the weight from the motor would pass to uprights [angled a bit]
with lower end right at the caster areas. The 3rd bolt each side is
redundant and totally unnecessary.
Laser cut. Oooooh. This is an engine stand, not a spacecraft.
Sh'g heavy stuff via USPSl wastes the buyer's money. Time to look into FedEx
for sh'g stuff like that. Better yet, make the thing bolt together, so it
fits into a USPS 11x17x3" Flat Rate box, and go to any of the US states for
under $10. [think ahead]
Other than that, sure, a good design for not too much money.
Casters look nice and HD, not going to fall apart, though I relly like to
see steel wheeled casters like on engine work stands, since a rubber one
broke years ago and the leg of the motor stand parked itself on my friend's
FOOT. That should not be an issue with a STORAGE stand however.
WANTED:
1968-9 2 groove Water Pump PULLEY "KA-401462" stamp . NOT the common PS Pump
Pulley. Must have 4 bolt holes + center hole for water pump use.
