Patches for OLIO-22, OLIO-23, OLIO-24 in JIRA

Last night I reported some "trivial" issues (OLIO-22, OLIO-23,  
OLIO-24) for the rails-app and earlier this morning I added patches  
that address these issues as comments to each issue respectively.
