Trying to install the thunderbird .rpm from 2014.0 repo in Cooker results:
selecting thunderbird-38.0.1-0.2-omv2014.0.x86_64
Will unselect mozilla-thunderbird < 38.0.1-0.2 as obsoleted by
thunderbird-38.0.1-0.2-omv2014.0.x86_64
requiring
libicui18n.so.51()(64bit),libicuuc.so.51()(64bit),libvpx.so.1()(64bit)
for thunderbird-38.0.1-0.2-omv2014.0.x86_64
no packages match libvpx.so.1()(64bit) (it is either in skip.list or
already rejected)
unselecting thunderbird-38.0.1-0.2-omv2014.0.x86_64
adding a reason to already rejected package
thunderbird-38.0.1-0.2-omv2014.0.x86_64: unsatisfied libvpx.so.1()(64bit)
A requested package cannot be installed:
thunderbird-38.0.1-0.2-omv2014.0.x86_64 (due to unsatisfied
libvpx.so.1()(64bit))
fixed libvpx.so.1 dependency by manually installing libvpx-utils for x86_64.
Then we get:
selecting thunderbird-38.0.1-0.2-omv2014.0.x86_64
Will unselect mozilla-thunderbird < 38.0.1-0.2 as obsoleted by

Which can't be met because Cooker is using:
# rpm -qa | grep icui
lib64icui18n55-55.1-1-omv2015.0.x86_64
lib64icuio55-55.1-1-omv2015.0.x86_64

isn't in Cooker/Main it is only in 2014.0/Main.

Thanks for the information. That's helping me to learn more...
Looks like we got a build error. Also looks like chrisb built version
38.0.1 on 6-14-2015 and it says build published but it isn't in main
repo.

No need to deal with source rpms if you just want to sync
thunderbird in cooker and 2014.0.
Just clone openmandriva/thunderbird project from ABF
(https://abf.io/openmandriva/thunderbird/) and sync "master" and
"openmandriva2014.0" branches (though they are already in sync, as
far as I can see). Then launch a build in ABF and see what happens.
It looks like thunderbird was updated in Git, but the build failed a
couple of weeks ago and no more build attempts were performed since
then.
I have triggered new build recently, let's see how it goes.

So that brings up the question. How do I rebuild Thunderbird? I
have an ABF account. Where do I get the source .rpm? Once I have
the source .rpm do I need to do anything to it or is it simply a
matter of building it in ABF. And while doing so could I upgrade it
to the version we have in 2014.0 repo? In Cooker is version 31.7.0
in 2014.0 is version 38.0.1. That's quite a difference. Also if I
do manage to rebuild this package should I also be concerned with
the language packages?
