Hello cooker and council There is a call now for the two conferences below
We could apply, the question is: do we want to show smth on a conference (smaller than FOSDEM, but in Czech, where we have great audience and many supporters), or we want to start planning a new strategic meeting of OMA? To say from the start: right now we do not have funds to cover the travel costs, that would have to be paid by participants themselves (if we get money meanwhile, surely asso will reimburse everything what possible). Combination of strategic meeting and fair showed itself as almost impossible, that is why we speak of choice between 2 options. Meeting in Prague proved to be very efficient, some of the decisions taken there we still implement, we planned indeeed in good advance. Prague has good prices for the hotel, located centrally in Europe and has quite large airport - this all makes it convenient and quite cheap, not to mention that after meetings is great to walk around the beautiful city and have some beer:) Though other places suggestions are welcome as well. So to start we have 2 Qs: 1. Conference or strategic meeting? 2. If strategic meeting, Prague or other place? Once we are clear here, we can move on.
