I don't see anything crashing. Don't see anything in dmesg or journalctl
that explains. It just freezes for exactly 60 sec like it's on a timer.

I can't tell if there is anything in xsession=errors or journalctl
(journalctl -mxe) to explain freeze ups.

Good idea and logical. Unfortunately not. baloo and akonadi are both
disabled. I tend to disable them soon after installing.

Is baloo file indexer
balooctl disable
and kill all baloo processes.

Since yesterday I have been getting random, unexplained, desktop
freeze ups. This is in installed on hardware systems one
existing and one installed from .iso # 100 today.
Haven't been able to pin down a reason other than possibly
something that was updated yesterday. Don't see anything yet in
journalctl that explains this.
What happens is without warning desktop freezes and stays frozen
for what seems like 2 minutes then it unfreezes. Otherwise no
determinable pattern.
Don't know if this is on or off topic but I'm becoming
increasingly skeptical we'll be able to release a BETA unless
and until we separate repositories for OMLx 3 from Cooker.
