Thanks Colin for announcing this on ML. Situation where day before GA, bugs and blockers will be reported is unacceptable (say no to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Procrastination). I'm strongly against such approach, so test it now. All TC meeteing till GA date must be focused on resolving bugs reported on bugzilla etc. I'd suggest to announce GA date on forums, blog, and social medias.
