Hi, the features really depend on your needs. Personally, I would choice a power capacity 50% to 100% above the power required by the devices to protect. In any case, you should check the compatibility with NUT ( http://networkupstools.org/ ). There is a package in OMLx. Eaton UPSes are said to be linux friendly but I didn't test myself.
