I'd copy the current rootfs to the data pool, so i could snatch configs from /etc and stuff in the new OS (can include not only ssh, but dladm, ipadm, rbac settings etc.). Perhaps also 'svccfg export' those smf services i have interest in. Note that the common install procedure would wipe and recreate your zpool completely. You might want instead to 'zfs recv' an installation of new OS into a dataset on existing rpool. -- Typos courtesy of K-9 Mail on my Samsung Android _______________________________________________ OmniOS-discuss mailing list OmniOS-discuss@lists.omniti.com http://lists.omniti.com/mailman/listinfo/omnios-discuss
