It's probably not likely to be fixed at this point, is my only option to 
reinstall?
I was living in fear for this, but just couldn't get all my remote systems done 
in time.
My last few systems are all remote 400+ miles.
I should have at least change over to openssh on all of them…
BTW r22 isn't working either I tried to update to r22 before going to r22ce on 
our rsf1 cluster nodes since we haven't tested it on CE but ended up going to 
CE without issues.
At least that had openssh.

I'd stop-and-restart the "pkg update" you were doing.  Maybe the 
pkg.omniti.com<http://pkg.omniti.com> server moved?
