Yes, he passed away about three years ago, maybe longer, due to heart failure. At one point, there was some talk about steroids and other illicit drugs, but nothing was ever proven. If I recall correctly, he died in his hotel room and was found by his wife. Not a hundred per cent certain on that, though.
