I certainly agree with that part.  It should be part of the ON
_consolidation_.

By that reasoning, nearly every project that delivers through the ON
consolidation potentially needs ON community endorsement.  I don't
think that makes sense.

As you wish; it was a question of scope and perhaps a nit to begin
with.

I don't think this is the right way to use the endorsement mechanism
(communities are interest areas rather than arrangements of code), but
since the discussion doesn't seem to be going anywhere useful, I'll
not stand in the way.

As a core contributor to ON, +0 from me.
