Hi,

Like many projects, our gate parents off of an ON snapshot. In the
Teamware age we parented off on /net/onnv.sfbay/export/snapshot/onnv_xx.
Now with Hg we can utter things like 'hg clone -r onnv_95 ....'
which is grand but doesn't seem to be quite the same as having
a standalone snapshot of that revision of the gate. One thing
that appears to be missing is that webrev, actually hg-active which
it employs to get a file list, will compare your child gate
against the *tip* of the onnv clone and not against the
revision tagged onnv_95, or whatever - this generates zillions
more files than are really in your gate, and even for those
that are compares against the clone tip of that file.

Obviously I can workaround this manually, but have I missed any
more elegant option?

Thanks

Gavin
