Hi, PSARC 2009/057 "prtconf PCI Vendor and Device Ids option" was recently integrated, so I've added support for decoding ids [1] as was discussed in the case materials [2]. I am interested in comments. One thing that bothers me a little is that this patch makes prtconf depend on libpciaccess, which is delivered by X consolidation, IIRC (And SUNWcsu will depend on SUNWpciaccess). Would such cross dependency be valid at all for ON ?
Another way to resolve it would be to try dlopen() on libpciaccess, but that would change the behavior of prtconf -dv in non-obvious way. Anyway, feedback is most welcome.
