Those seem to be pretty old archives.  At least an important part of
ZFS boot support arrived in April, so archives built back in early
March (almost five months ago) likely won't have those bits.  That's
probably the cause of the problem.

The second issue is the mailing list: in general, if you're using BFU,
it's because you're working with some alpha test bits provided by some
project team.  You should discuss any issues you have directly with
that project team in order to find the relevant experts.

In this case, that'd be crossbow-discuss at opensolaris.org, rather than
on-discuss.
