Hi Jerome, Some of the project teams already worked with chef. As an example, the mso configuration in the mso docker image is managed by chef.
You might also be interested by the MSO-9 issue as it?s related. The idea is to populate the configuration files located directories which will be mounted as volumes by the docker containers, before the containers are actually launched. We started to use foreman/puppet to do that. This will allow us to have a good control on the configuration, tracking changes and also enforcing the configuration regularly during each puppet run. Would this be something interesting to share ?
