Abdelmuhaimen,

Option1: onboard as link based App, and activate it from "Application
Catalogue" page. Just like "CLI".
If you supply URL, App Name, Thumbnail img today we can quickly add to
onboarding script as default App for "demo" user as part of Portal package.
You can still make it for Amsterdam release...

Option2: onboard as regular app to take advantage of user/role authentication
& authorization, like VID, Policy, SDC. Need to get API call ready for Beijing
release.

Thanks,
Leimeng

Hi Abdelmuhaimen,
Yes, you can on-board your app as http link only right away, using Portal's app
onboarding GUI in any test environment. However, the Portal team can help you
add your app in the Portal's on-boarding script, so that it is on-boarded as
default app. Regarding the default on-boarding, Leimeng (CCed) from our team
can help with the required details as she coordinate with all the other apps on
similar topics.
If you want to take advantage of single sign-on, session management and other
features of PORTAL platform, then we suggest the service based on-boarding.
Few links to go through on these topics:

I hope this helps.

Subject: [onap-discuss] Integrate Java web application with ONAP Portal
To: onap-discuss@lists.onap.org<mailto:onap-discuss@lists.onap.org>
Hi,
I am working on a Java web app that uses SDNC, and the Java web app has a
specific Graphical User Interface, with login, network settings, user input,
and log displays, etc ...
Now, I would like to integrate the web app into ONAP Portal, I tried to
on-board the app, and i see there's an option for http link only, and there's
another option to add the REST API URL of my app.
Where can i find documentation showing me how to provide an API from my
application to ONAP Portal, and what happens when I give the REST API URL to
ONAP ?
Can my application appear as a tab like others SDC, Demo APP, VID, etc ?
Thanks
