Hi Lusheng and DCAE Team, Recently I've learnt that DCAE Gen2 (ONAP R1 DCAE) has dependency on Open Stack Designate Service. It is problematic since not all cloud environments contain Designate (it is not a "core" Open Stack service, in our case we do not have it). For lab env. in most cases it is not big issue to install, but in cases where production clouds with Designate are used to host ONAP - it is issue. Thus I have two questions:
- Is there any workaround allowing to install DCAE GEN2 without Designate? - Is long term strategy to keep this dependencies? If so, will other components also rely on it (today, if I am correct, only DCAE uses Designate)? Best regards, Michał
