We do have it, however it does not support full input parameters on the VID screen. I actually believe it was in Amsterdam release, I would have to go back and see that version of the code. It requires special configuration today in VID and MSO, in order to utilize it.

We can not say it is supported with no implementation. I suggest it should be discussed in SO meeting and make it clear before we add a new implementation. Or it is actually adding an overlap. Stating that it is a step by step process is misleading. This is the meaning of the Alacarte flag on the API. Alacarte = step by step process Macro = spin entire instance. The introduction of the e2e service instance API was an overlap that was introduced when that API was created. I think it was not well understood how the service instances API actually worked at the time. So I think we should not have another NBI for it , please discuss this with SO PTL first before you do this. As I know, the service instances endpoint is for VID step-by-step operations. The generic northbound request will be pushed early in Casablanca, VID will also be updated to specify input to each resource. It should get merged in the next coming weeks. A specific BPMN exists for voLTE use-case but I did not experiment it. I expect that it is possible to create such “generic” BPMN. Any contribution on that subject would be very appreciated. In the demo as part of R1, VID was used to create the Service in which first the service was created then VNF and then VF modules. Is there a generic flow available in R2 in which we can pass a single request from the northbound system ? And is ARIA orchestration integrated with SO ?
