Hi Yan, It’s recommended to upgrade oparent to 1.2.1; not a must.
The settings.xml should be placed in your local ~/.m2/ directory, where you should already have one; the change is just to add the additional property definitions. LF has already taken care of doing this in the Maven build environments in Jenkins.
